My name is Alpha Omega Stacer III. Most folks call me Al.
My faith journey began in the middle of the twentieth century and by the grace of God continues. My faith has been formed in Presbyterian and Disciples of Christ churches with some influence by Episcopalian and non-denominational traditions.
I worked in various jobs - human resources, grants management, but mostly information technology. Work allowed me to pay for school and to support a family.
By good fortune and hard work, my wife, an educator, and I retired several years ago. Our son and daughter are grown.
With God's continued grace, I have sought to give back in some measure for the blessings in my life.
Through volunteer work at church and in the community, through study and worship, I sense God's grace continuing to unfold, as daily bread is given in physical and spiritual nourishment.
I hope the pages that follow convey to you a sense of the depth of blessing I've experienced on my faith journey so far and prompt you to consider ways believers throughout our lives can serve.
